More concerns about just how many people may be infected with the Zika Virus came up during a panel discussion in our nation's capitol.
Dr. Anthony Fauci says there are likely thousands of people in the U.S. who contracted the mosquito borne virus while traveling abroad and most aren't even aware of it.
"If you come back from a region, and you have a pregnant wife -- clearly you should be, if you've been infected or even highly suspected of being infected -- use a condom for the duration of the pregnancy."
Experts also say it's a good idea to use insect repellent for several weeks after returning from a Zika affected country to cut down on the risk that mosquitos will bite you, then infect someone else.
