Calhoun County Detectives received a tip about possible stolen property at a residence off Beadle Lake Road in Emmett Township on Tuesday.
While talking to the resident at the home, they noticed theft of power from Consumer's Energy. The detectives prepared a search warrant and searched the premises.
There they found a large amount of stolen property, including several thousand dollars of gift cards, laptops, generators, prescription medication, in addition to braided cable from Consumers Energy substations.
They also found in the search several pounds of marijuana and methamphetamine.
The investigation is in progress.
