Mason police and the U.S. Marshals office are searching for a fugitive in the city.

Mason Police Chief John Stressman tells us that Michael Raymond is wanted as an escapee/absconder out of Kalamazoo, where he was under the supervision of the Kalamazoo County parole department. He was being held there on a federal weapons charge.

Raymond is 33-years-old, white, about 6'1" with blue eyes. Police locked down Mason High School as a precaution after Raymond was reportedly seen on Jefferson Street.

FOX 47 News will be tracking the search for Michael Raymond and will have updates as soon as more information is available.
