ALBION, Mich. (WSYM) - Police are investigating after a body was found in a Mid-Michigan river Saturday.
Albion Public Safety and the Calhoun County Major Crimes Task Force Team were called to the Kalamazoo River near Haven Road at 1:42 p.m.
Several people kayaking down the river found what appeared to be a body in the river. The kayakers then notified Calhoun County Dispatch Authority.
The body was removed by the Calhoun County Dive Team.
Police are working to determine if this case is accidental or if foul play is involved.
