Consumers Energy to help low-income families keep power

Consumers Energy is putting up $12 million to help make sure low-income families can afford to keep their power on this winter.

It's working with five non-profit agencies, including Salvation Army and Saint Vincent De-Paul Society.

Those agencies will work directly with people who need help with their bills.
