Thursday afternoon a few members of the Michigan Legislative Black Caucus and Michigan State Police Director Colonel Kristie Etue met to discuss remarks made on Etue's Facebook page.

The meeting lasted about an hour and a half.
She again, apologized for the comments, and told reporters that she is not resigning. She did not take any questions from the media. Members of the Black Caucus stated once the meeting was over that they are moving forward with her, and will try to work together.
Last week The Michigan Legislative Black Caucus was outspoken about their dismay with Michigan State Police Director Colonel Kristie Etue's Facebook post, regarding her stance on NFL players kneeling during the national anthem. They called for her resignation or her termination by Governor Rick Snyder.
