Crime Stoppers offeres reward for information in murder of young man

The family of Angelo Goforth made a plea Thursday to anyone who has information that can help bring his killer to justice.

Angelo - known as NuNu - was murdered November 21, 2015. He was at the Sweet Soul Bistro with friends when it happened.

Being a gentleman, the 25-year-old escorted three female friends to their car when another man with a gun approached the group and made them get down on the ground.

The gunman tried to shoot them, but his gun jammed.

Angelo then struggled with the man for the gun.

He was shot four times.

Angelo’s life was cut way too short.

A $2,500 dollar reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in this case. An additional $1,000 is being offer to the person who does so before midnight.
