BATTLE CREEK, Michigan — Binder Park Zoo will soon host the Cheetah Chase, a scenic run or walk on a "route to Africa" and back with kangaroos, giraffe and cheetahs along the way.
It's a 5K walk and 5K run and takes place Saturday, June 24. Registration and details are listed at the Binder Zoo website. Registration includes a zoo pass for the day and for those older than 21, a Bell's Brewing beer is included at the finish line, according to Marketing and Development Manager Leslie Walsh.
It's a chip-timed race and there are awards for age groups and genders.
