Though the location in downtown Lansing has remained the same since 1893, change is constant at Young Bros & Daley. Celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2018, Young Bros & Daley has evolved from a strictly commercial company to one that now serves a broad residential customer base as well.

“We still have the brick and stone commercial business as always,” said Young Bros & Daley CEO Lori Williams. “Now we have a wide range of home and patio products that appeal to women that tend to make most of the home decorating decisions.”

Young Bros & Daley’s current showroom at 720 East Michigan Avenue in Lansing is designed to provide customers with many different ideas and options to create a fabulous living space both inside and out. Product offerings include fireplaces, stone, brick, tile, hardscape pavers, pergolas, grills and furniture, most of which is made in the U.S. The company regularly updates its showroom including a recent remodel with new paint and carpeting, unique grills and pizza ovens, and a new line of Pawley’s Island patio furniture.

Marking the 125th anniversary makes Young Bros & Daley one of the oldest businesses in downtown Lansing, something the company will be celebrating throughout the year. The public is invited to an open house on Thursday, September 6 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce members will enjoy a Member Mixer at Young Bros & Daley in November.

“We feel it is very noteworthy that we are one of the oldest businesses in downtown, most definitely on Michigan Avenue,” said Williams. “We want to share that good news and encourage people to come see what’s new at Young Bros & Daley.”
