There's a new study that says early menstruation may increase the risk of early menopause.
Researchers found women were 80-percent more likely to enter menopause before the age of 40, if their first period came before the age of 11.
Those who started at 12 and 13 were only 30-percent more likely to enter menopause during their early 40s.
The risk increased for early bloomers who had no children.
