Yoga may decrease back pain

If you have lower back pain, yoga could help.

A new study followed over 1,000 adults, some who did yoga class and some who didn't exercise.

Yoga was found to improve back function and reduce pain for the first six to 12 months, but long-term effects aren't known yet.

A small percentage of those that did yoga complained of increased back pain.
