White wine could be linked to melanoma

Posted

There's evidence white wine may increase the risk of melanoma, the most deadly type of skin cancer.

A new study from Brown University followed over 200,000 adults for 18 years.

It showed that each drink per day of white wine increased the risk of melanoma by 13-percent in white men and women.

Beer, red wine and liquor did not seem to significantly affect melanoma risk.
