A new study reveals that dementia rates in the U.S. are dropping.
The study found that dementia rates in Americans age 65 and older have fallen by 24-percent.
Not only that, but the average age of a dementia diagnosis has gone up by about two years.
This translates to nearly one million fewer Americans suffering from the condition.
The decline is most likely the result of American's rising educational levels and better heart health, which both relate to brain health.
