Most children who have died from the flu in recent years, were not vaccinated, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
Researchers looked at nearly 300 pediatric deaths from 2010 to 2014.
They found at least 3/4 of kids who died from the flu had not been vaccinated in the months before they got sick.
Health officials say anyone 6 months and older should get a flu shot for the best protection against the virus.
