Men that eat a lot of red meat could be at an increased risk of diverticulitis which is a painful digestive disorder.
A new study looked at the diets of more than 45,000 middle-aged men and it showed that men who ate more than 12 servings of red meat a week were 58-percent more likely to develop the disorder than those who ate just one weekly serving.
Researchers say if you replace one serving of red meat a day with fish or chicken, it could cut down the risk by 20-percent.
Diverticulitis can cause nausea and severe pain and can even lead to tears or blockages in the colon.
