The U.S. is dealing with its highest numbers of reported sexually transmitted diseases.
The findings were reported at the National STD Prevention Conference underway in Washington.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 2.3 million cases of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia were diagnosed last year.
That's 200,000 more cases than the record set in 2016.
Experts say the number of STD cases have gone up four years in a row.
