There is going to be a mock disaster at one of Sparrow's hospitals on Thursday.
Sparrow Carson will hold a training exercise simulating a tornado hitting the west side of the hospital.
The Carson City Police and Fire Departments will be there. Montcalm County EMS will have disaster-response trailers on the scene as well.
Sparrow is warning everyone now to prevent any unnecessary 9-1-1 calls.
