On Thursday, April Sparrow showcased the innovative MyChart Bedside technology, in which patients are supplied iPads while in the hospital to check their vital signs and lab results, communicate with their care team, and learn more about their care.
The system was featured as a part of a visit by U.S. Rep. Mike Bishop and staff of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) to Sparrow Hospital.
