A new report shows many men in our nation's military have suffered serious pelvis injuries.
Data from the past 15 years shows 1,400 cases of injuries to the genitals or urinary tract, most were caused by bomb blasts in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Researchers call these injuries 'uniquely devastating' because they can affect a man's ability to urinate normally, have sex and even father children.
At the time of their injury, most of the men were 35 or younger.
Experts say they are at high risk for suicide.
