Poor eating habits at a young age may increase a woman's risk for pre-menopausal breast cancer.
Researching looked at the diet of over $1,000 middle-aged women.
Those who ate a lot of carbs, red meat and refined sugars, but few fruits and vegetables, were 35% more likely to develop breast cancer at a young age, than those who ate healthy.
Women who ate poorly during their early adult years had a 41% higher risk of pre-menopausal breast cancer.
