People who have a diet rich in nuts could possibly live longer.
Researchers studied cases of stroke, coronary heart disease, cancer and those who had succumbed to their illnesses.
They found that a handful of nuts decrease cancer risk by 15-percent, coronary heart disease by roughly 30-percent and premature death by 22-percent.
Hazelnuts, peanuts and walnuts were included in the study.
Nuts tend to include nutrients, like fiber and magnesium, that are known to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
