New research on when to introduce peanuts

There's new research that suggests when parents should introduce peanuts to young children.

If your child is allergic to eggs or has severe eczema, they are considered at high risk of having a peanut allergy.

New guidelines suggest these kids try peanut paste or protein in a doctor's between the ages of four and six-months-old.

Around six months, children with mild to moderate eczema can be introduced to peanuts at home.

Babies with no egg allergy or eczema can be exposed to peanuts at any age.
