Lansing ranks low in healthiest cities study

A new poll showing the nation's healthiest cities reveals Lansing may not being faring so well.

The data comes from the Gallup-Healthways Index of Well-Being. It ranks the nation's biggest cities on health and happiness. It includes several factors, such as smoking, disease prevalence, proper money management, and healthy and supportive friendships.

Earning the top spot: Naples, Florida.

Barnstable, Massachusetts came in at number two. The highest ranking city in Michigan is Ann Arbor, which came in at number 27. Lansing came in at number 123 out of a total of 189. But Lansing still ranked higher than Flint, which came in at 184th in terms of health and happiness.
