Sparrow is proud to have collaborated with the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Lansing School Districtto train budding healthcare workers in this year’s Future DOcs program.
Students received Sparrow scrubs Saturday during a closing ceremony at the Gathering Place at Sparrow. The students from East Lansing, Waverly Senior High School and Lansing Eastern, Everett High School and J. W. Sexton High School took weeks of summer classes to learn the ins and outs of being a Physician or following another healthcare path.
The program was led by Timothy Hodge, M.D., Sparrow’s Executive Medical Director of Emergency Services.
