LANSING, MI – There’s nothing better than free buttermilk pancakes to start the day – unless you can also support children’s health at the same time.
Tuesday, March 7, is National Pancake Day and the East Lansing IHOP will be serving up free pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In return, guests are asked to help make a difference by leaving a donation to benefit the Sparrow Children’s Center, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
The IHOP is located at 2771 E. Grand River Avenue.
National Pancake Day is being held at IHOPs throughout the nation, with the goal of raising $3.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other charities. Since 2006, the event has raised more than $24 million to provide life-saving treatment and medical equipment for young Patients, including those treated at Sparrow.
Sparrow is a leader in caring for children. The first hospital in mid-Michigan to offer a dedicated children’s unit, Sparrow is home to the region’s only full-service pediatric emergency department. As the region’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Sparrow provides the most advanced technology and treatment options in pediatric and neonatal care.
Choose Wisely. Choose Sparrow.
