Samantha Harris, a longtime host of the popular Dancing with the Stars and a breast cancer survivor, is the keynote speaker of Friday’s 43nd annual Kaleidoscope event, hosted by the Sparrow Foundation at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.
“Kaleidoscope: A Day for Women” features informative seminars, exciting speakers, shopping, and a health and beauty emporium.
Harris’ lunchtime address will focus on her journey from hosting one of America’s most popular shows to Broadway actress to her victory over breast cancer. Most recently, she can be seen hosting the Gordan Ramsay-produced cooking show, Culinary Genius, alongside Chef Edward Lee.
Kaleidoscope’s opening session will feature the ever-popular Professor Elliot Engel, one of the most insightful, personable and entertaining lecturers to come out of academia and a standout at previous Kaleidoscope events. He will talk about the life and legend of the famous pirate, Blackbeard.
Kaleidoscope is designed to empower, enrich and inspire women of our region. It is organized by Women Working Wonders (W3), a committee of the Sparrow Foundation, and is generously supported by our Presenting Sponsor, Michigan State University Federal Credit Union.
