There's been an increase in the number of flu cases in Michigan over the last week.
The state department of health and human services is raising the activity level from "local" to "regional."
State lab tests have confirmed 94 cases of influenza statewide, up from 74 last week.
Most of them are in the Detroit area.
The department is recommending anyone who hasn't gotten a flu shot get vaccinated.\
Michigan ranks 42nd in the country for flu vaccination coverage.
The CDC says this year's vaccine is a good match for the strain of influenza going around.
