Flavored e-cigs may increase risk of smoking

Posted

Using flavored e-cigarettes may increase teens' intentions to smoke in the future.

A new study found 58-percent of adolescents who used flavored e-cigarettes said they planned to start smoking.

That's compared to 47-percent of those who used regular e-cigarettes and 20-percent of those who had never tried them.

Flavored e-cigarette users were also less likely to think tobacco is dangerous.
