Veterans in Ingham County can go to the clerk's office Monday to get a military photo identification card.
Clerk Barb Byrum says veterans deserve a convenient way to show proof of their service, without carrying around military paperwork.
To get a card, vets have to file their original military discharge papers with the clerks office and show photo ID.
There is a $10 fee.
The Ingham County clerks office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
