Steve Gray, Senior Deputy Director, Unemployment Insurance, Paul Gentilozzi, Gentilozzi Real Estate, and Becky Powers, CFO, Capital Area Michigan Works! will offer brief remarks and then cut the ribbon to commemorate the opening of the newly constructed Lansing Unemployment Insurance local office.
The move is part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to better meet the needs of residents who interact with the unemployment insurance system. The new facility will allow the agency to service more customers and increase the efficiency of operations. The Lansing office is one of 13 local offices around the state that provides in-person assistance to customers with Unemployment Insurance claims.
