The streets in Lansing were filled with runners on Sunday, taking part in the Capital City River Run and Marathon.
Runners had their choice of a marathon, half marathon, or a 5k.
It started at Adado Riverfront Park and took runners all the way to MSU's campus.
Runners say it was a fun way to get out and see the Capital City.
"It's always fun with the people. It's inspirational, it's encouraging and you tend to do more than you would normally, just because of all the people that are helping," said Royce Snyman, who ran in the Capital City Half Marathon.
The winner of the marathon finished in two hours and 41 minutes and plans on running in the Detroit marathon next month.
