LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - Over 3,000 people gathered at the Cooley Law School Stadium Saturday afternoon for the 4th annual Beerfest.
Attendees were able to taste over 300 craft beers from over 60 breweries, wineries, and distilleries which were mostly from Michigan.
There was also plenty of food to enjoy as well.
Organizers say this is the best turn out yet.
“This is an event that's really a little bit of something for everyone and that's why we add the wine and liquors as well," said Nick Grueser, General Manager for the Lansing Lugnuts.
“I think it’s great, it helps boost the community and brings people out,” said Edwin Lindemann, who came to enjoy Beerfest. “It allows us to see different vendors of beer makers and all the craft beers that are being made in Michigan."
Beerfest ran from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cooley Law School Stadium.
