The Lansing Board Of Water and Light's 21st Annual Chili Cook-Off had a healthy turn out this year.
They report over 6,000 people showed up to the event on October 7th at the Adado Riverfront Park.
Double from 2015 when the event was held on it's usual date in the first Friday of June.
Proceeds from this year's event went to benefit non-profit groups in Lansing, including the Sparrow Foundation, Impression 5 Science Center and the H.O.P.E. Scholarship program.
