Some mid-michigan schools get money to improve security

More than 50 Michigan schools will share $2 million dollars to buy equipment and improve technology for school security. The money comes from State Police grants.

Several Mid-Michigan schools will benefit.

Most Holy Trinity and Fowler Public Schools will share nearly $37,000. Perry Public Schools will get more than $72,000. St. Josephy Catholic School in Howell will get $11,000 and St. Mary's in Westphalia has been awarded just over $3,000.
