The Salvation Army started it's Red Kettle campaign on Thursday.
This year's theme is 'Home Plate Matters.' That makes sense once you consider that the honorary chair is MSU Baseball Coach Jake Boss, Junior.
The Red Kettle campaign is the Salvation Army's largest fundraiser of the year.
The goal is to raise $230,000 by Christmas Eve.
