Lyft, a ride-sharing service that launched recently in greater Lansing, has expanded it's service to local air travelers.

Travelers now have the option of being picked up or dropped off at the Capital Region International Airport (LAN).

"We're pleased to add Lyft to the roster of ground transportation service providers at Capital Region International Airport," said Nicole Noll-Williams, the airports director of marketing and passenger development. "We pride ourselves on the convenience we off mid-Michigan fliers, and Lyft service is another way the airport is making travel simplified."

Those interested in using Lyft can open the app and request a ride. Similar to cabs, costs are based on how far the rider wants to go.
