Posted

Hundreds of cyclists will take part in the 'Ride of Silence' from the Michigan State University campus to the Capitol of Lansing today.

The annual event honors cyclists who were killed or injured while riding on public roads.

Last year, 38 riders were killed in traffic crashes, including five in a single crash in Kalamazoo.

The ride starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Wells Hall plaza.
