LANSING, Mich. — The Capital Area Humane Society’s (CAHS) Walk for the Animals is going VIRTUAL on Saturday, October 3 at 11 a.m. featuring pet costume photo and doggy custard eating contests, adorable shelter pets and their stories, and much more on Facebook and their website.

Register today at www.AdoptLansing.org to create a fundraising page, secure an exclusive Walk t-shirt and goody bag, and earn fun prizes. Registered participants can partake in the pet costume photo contest and doggy custard eating photo contest for a chance to win prizes and be featured online. Registration fees are $25 per person, and $10 for children 12 and younger.

While so much is up in the air, one thing everyone can count on is that animals will need CAHS. In these troubled times, CAHS is facing unprecedented losses in funding, and now, more than ever, CAHS needs your help. The Walk is one of the most important annual fundraising events of the year for them, and they rely on the event to raise $85,000. All money raised is essential to ensure they can go the extra mile for every single animal who needs them.
