MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Curious preschool children will enjoy hands-on science exploration activities at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road, in Meridian Township on Thursday, September 5th at 1-2 pm. This month’s Preschool Science Exploration theme is Nocturnal Nature. The program is designed for 4-5 year old children. The fee is $3/child and is due at the time of the program. For more information, contact hnc@meridian.mi.us or 517.349.3866.
“Nighttime brings its own nature sights and sounds,” said Nature Center Coordinator Kati Adams, “and while it won’t be dark in the middle of the afternoon, the children will still have fun making nocturnal nature discoveries.”
Each Preschool Science class has a different science topic and will always include a walk in addition to the science activities.
