Exciting news for craft beer lovers and bar goers across mid-Michigan -- a popular Kalamazoo bar will soon be making its debut in Lansing.
The Lansing Beer Exchange is expected to open in spring of 2017, above Domino's on Washington Square in downtown Lansing.
The bar theme is unique to Lansing and operates similar to a stock exchange.
According to a press release from Downtown Lansing, Inc., "Beer prices will rise and fall throughout the day based on what beers are popular that day. Occasionally, the market will crash and send prices falling."
The bar will include 150 seats, a dining room, a private events room, kitchen, pool tables, pinball machines and a rooftop bar with a fireplace, a gourmet hot dog cart, and a Bocce Ball court.
"Several people in our region are familiar with the original location in Kalamazoo and are really excited to see them open their second location in downtown Lansing with the Lansing Beer Exchange," said Mindy Biladeau, executive director of Downtown Lansing, Inc.
