MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MI — When the snow is sparkling and the kids are building a snowman, pull out your camera and capture those moments!

If you would like to become more comfortable with your camera, join national award winning photographer Ron St. Germain at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Meridian Township for a 3-week photography class held Wednesdays, February 6th-20th from 6:30-9 pm. There is also an optional outdoor photo shoot on Saturday February 9th from 10 am- 1 pm, which is included in the $60 class fee. “Winter offers many photographic opportunities,” said Nature Center Coordinator Kit Rich. “From the beauty of nature to outdoor sports, there is always something to photograph, so now is the time to learn how to get the most out of each shot you take.”

Mr. St. Germain will share many tips and techniques on taking professional looking family, pet and vacation photos as well as outdoor and wildlife photos with very basic equipment. Also learn about digital cameras and printing your photos. Bring your camera.
