Online students got a hands-on lesson in bowling from the professionals. More than 25 families from Michigan Connections Academy, a public online school program, traveled to Lansing to reconnect the students with their internet teachers.
An added bonus? They also got to strap on bowling shoes with local PBA members.
"We get to socialize with other kids in their classes that they meet online. We do the live lessons, and now they get to see them face to face and we have fun," said Stephanie Denczek, a parent.
This allowed kids to connect outside of their online classroom.
