If you're traveling on Old U.S. 27 on Wednesday, you just may see a lot of beautiful old cars.
That's because the 12th annual historic Old U.S. 27 Motor Tour returns to the Greater Lansing Area on Wednesday for the tour.
The tour consists of a five-day motor tour that started in Coldwater on Aug. 20 and heads to Cheboygan along historic U.S. 27.
The idea behind the annual tour is to "re-live the good old days of scenic summer vacation trips up north in the family cruiser." That's right from the press release sent by Craig Parrish.
"This is going to be a great event full of classic old-time nostalgia," said Craig Parrish, event coordinator for the Old Historic U.S. 27 Motor Tour. "Michigan's automotive heritage is so important to its residents, and that is most certainly the case in the home of Oldsmobile, Greater Lansing, Michigan."
Wednesday's stop is at Riverside Park in DeWitt, near Old 27.
The event is free and everyone is welcome to come out and view the vintage autos from 6 - 8 PM.
Also, area auto-enthusiasts can register their classic car at this stop and join the tour for $15.
In addition to the car show there will be a live band, food and much more.
