Students from around the world were in East Lansing on Thursday for this year's Odyssey of the Mind competition.
The three-day event is underway at MSU's Kellogg Center.
800 teams are competing to perfect a solution to a long-term problem.
They're tackling everything from building a vehicle, engineering a robot and even recreating classic works of art.
The students are scored on creativity, risk-taking and style.
The most creative solutions will be on display when the competition wraps up on Saturday.
