American Airlines is launching it's daily service between Capital Region International Airport and Chicago O'Hare today.
Non-stop flights will take off from Lansing seven days a week at 6 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The flights from Chicago will depart every day at 8:25 a.m., 11:55 a.m. and 9:45 p.m.
The beginning of the Chicago service is an off-shoot from the airlines July 6 launch of daily direct flights from Lansing to Washington, D.C.
The inaugural flight takes off from Lansing this morning at 11 a.m.
