Parks and recreation areas in Meridian Township will be getting an upgrade soon.
The Meridian Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded nearly $1 million in grant funding from the DNR Trust Fund Board.
Some of that money will go towards building new restrooms, a new fishing platform and the acquisition of an 80-acre parcel of land.
