City Life Lansing Organization is doing their 3rd annual project week September 17th-23rd called Love the City.
They will be serving the Lansing area by handing out Love the City goodie bags to business like fast food restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, Lansing teachers and more.
We will be helping out at parks, taking over intersections with music, cleaning up trash, handing out bags to cars.
We will also be "Paying it Forward" at different locations like Biggby's, McDonald's, Strange Matter and Blue Owl.
We will be going door to door on that Friday, September 21st giving away free groceries and pizza.
We will be investing $25,000 into the Lansing area that week. Our headquarters will be the Southside Community Center, "Harry Hill" where we will send people out at 8 AM, 12 PM and 6 PM.
We are having a block party on Saturday at Summer Place Town homes at 11 AM.
Finally we will finish off the week with a party on Sunday, September 23rd that we will be inviting everyone to all week. The event will be completely free with food, haircuts, inflatables and more.We believe in Lansing and want people to feel loved in a real way.
