Lansing Community College is seeking nominations for its Veteran Memorial wall.

The selected veterans will be honored during LCC’s 9th annual Veteran Memorial Induction Ceremony, Friday, November 9, 2018

LCC strives to honor our local service men and women who, while serving in any capacity in the military, distinguished themselves by extraordinary heroism, or other action worthy of this commemoration.

The memorial honors Michigan veterans, with a special emphasis on those in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties.

Nominees can come from any branch of the service during any military action, conflict or war.

Each year names of local heroes are added to the Veteran Memorial wall in the Health and Human Services Building located on LCC’s Downtown Campus.

For more information about the memorial, or to submit an application to have a veteran inducted, please visit lcc.edu/veteransmemorial or contact Andrew Cosgrove 517.483.1655 or cosgr1@star.lcc.edu.

Applications are accepted continuously, but the deadline for this year’s ceremony is August 20, 2018.
