Lansing Urgent Care is proud to announce their partnership with the Greater Lansing Food Bank to help raise money and feed those in need.
The Greater Lansing Food Bank is a non-profit organization that provides emergency food to individuals and families in need in Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Shiawassee, Clare, Isabella and Gratiot counties. It raises money, food and in-kind contributions to meet emergency food needs; coordinates and supports the work of area food pantries; rescues wholesome excess food that would otherwise go to waste; promotes, encourages and emphasizes self-help programs toward the goal of self-sufficiency; and educates the community on hunger issues.
Lansing Urgent Care found this partnership a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community. Owners of Lansing Urgent Care, Dr. Terry Matthews and Catherine Matthews, have always held a passion for feeding those who are hungry.
Lansing Urgent Care was honored to present the Greater Lansing Food Bank with a cash donation on November 2nd, 2017.
This donation is a result of Lansing Urgent Care's on-going quarterly commitment to provide proceeds to the Greater Lansing Food Bank from onsite medications purchased by their patients.
