The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce has been pretty tough on Lansing over the condition of Michigan Avenue. Wednesday it thanked the city for the repair announcement.
Lansing is spending $3,000 to repave Michigan Ave. between Holmes Road and Charles Street near Sparrow Hospital.
The chamber put out a statement saying it's pleased to see the city taking much needed action to begin repairs.
Lansing plans to completely rebuild Michigan Avenue in a few years.
